Once upon a time in a rehearsal room built on love, Beth asked that she and her ensemble mates draw out their dreams for future art making. In response to request to draw her future, Beth drew a brain with a pair of legs dancing in high heels. A truth found form in cartoon. Now, she uses dancing brain as the moniker for projects she personally produces.

ABOUT THE PLAY:

Long term sexual love is something like a cross between a cage fight and a ballet dance. Led by Philip Ridley's vibrant language and dry humor, two lovers battle each other and their history as they fight desperately for connection, power and survival after the death of their young daughter. Our lovers co-create an imaginative landscape peppered with unicorns, sea monsters, monkeys and aliens. A place in which they can confront their grief, their hopes, their fears and the power of their love for one another.

"Sexual love is the most stupendous fact of the universe and the most magical mystery our poor blind senses know" Amy Lowell

"We must embrace pain and burn it as fuel for our journey." Kenji Moyazawa

"Our life is what our thoughts make it." Marcus Aurelius
